As regular readers here know, we recently celebrated Acroprint’s 44th anniversary. In honor of the occasion, one of our valued resellers, Ty from Raleigh Time Recorder Company, sent us this:
“Hardy Arthree” there is a vintage Model 125AR3 time recorder — the name plate and serial number indicate it was only the 362nd clock the company ever made. Forty-four years of service and it’s still on the job, accurately recording employee work hours at a company right here in Raleigh.
Wow! You know, I knew our clocks were durable, but this is even more than I expected to see!
Here’s an excerpt of what “Hardy” had to say:
It has been a long time since I was home. But, I am delighted to report that I have been on the job faithfully these last 44 years. Yes sir! Doing what I was made to do! …the fine folks at Raleigh Time Recorder Company have looked after me real good. Well, I’m getting a little winded, so I had better wrap this up. Just remember what ol’ Arthree says: “Keep your gears lubed and your ribbons tight, and you are going to be all right!”
Words to live by, for sure.
